Spring Cohort: March 29 - April 19
In order for teams to develop effective trauma-informed care initiatives, they need to establish environments where team members feel safe and where secondary traumatic stress is kept to a minimum amongst staff. In this course we will teach participants tools and frameworks to build safer spaces and better maintain their ability to empathize despite the demands on energy, time, and focus.
We will discuss how Relational Leadership practices can help individuals better apply SAMHSA’s six
principles of a trauma-informed approach.

Summer Cohort: June 7 - 28
In this course, participants will explore how power dynamics and identity manifest in various healthcare
settings and create environments that facilitate open conversations about diversity, equity, inclusion, and health disparities.
Course Objectives:
Fall Cohort: August 2 - 23
Re-examine how to take on quality improvement efforts in more relational ways by learning tactical skills to authentically engage others throughout the process. We will use the PDSA framework to showcase how interventions can be more impactful and effective with relational practices.
